Why I don't create themed Jewelry

I've gotten a lot of questions lately if I'm going to launch a Kingsday collection, and the answer is no.

Not because I don’t love the energy of the day, but because it doesn’t align with what CH Design stands for.

I create jewelry to be worn again and again—pieces that feel just as special on a random Tuesday as they do at a celebration. Themed or seasonal jewelry often ends up being worn once (maybe twice), and then it sits in a drawer or gets tossed out. That kind of one-time use doesn’t sit right with me—not creatively, and definitely not sustainably.

At CH Design, I work with real flowers that I’ve picked, dried, and preserved myself. Every piece is slow-made with intention, designed to be timeless and meaningful. I want you to wear your earrings, necklace, or bracelet all year long—not just for a holiday.

That’s not to say there won’t ever be a collection featuring orange flowers—but if there is, I’ll launch it in a different part of the year. Not to match a flag or a theme, but to celebrate the flower itself. To make sure it’s appreciated beyond a single occasion, and can live beautifully in your wardrobe all year round.

So while you won’t find a dedicated Kingsday here, you will find soft pastels, bold colors, and organic shapes that outlast any trend or theme. Jewelry that doesn’t expire when the calendar flips.

Thank you for trusting in me and for appreciating the kind of jewelry that doesn't go out of style.
